Busy!

I havent been online much lately!

Friday night me my mom & Hailee went to a Rascal Flatts concert. Hailee looked way cute! The pictures are blurry because I copied them from my myspace. We had lawn seats so we brought a blanket & decided she wanted to sleep. She slept thru the whole concert! Of course I held her so she wouldnt get trampled on!



Saturday we went to a Book Bag Giveaway at a local park for a family who was killed a few years ago. They had cotton candy, popcorn, clowns, firetruck, face painting & food. Hailee had lots of fun!

Today I have spent the day posting some things on craigslist & organizing toys!

I am enrolling Hailee in preschool on Sept. 24th. I changed my mind about sending her next yr. I thought since William & I are seperating it might be good for her to get out! She will go a few days later than the rest of the kids but she is very excited. Im not sure when her first day will be but I will have lots of cute pictures!

We have picked out a few outfits for her. Im hoping to sell my stuff on craigslist so I can get her some more. I cnat wait to recieve my gift card for Gymboree I won to. Thtas going to be a big help!

Hailee has found a new love...Barbies. I was one to say I wouldnt want my child to play with them but she loves them! I guess its all how you teach your child about being beautiful inside & not about being super skinny like barbies!

I will try to get on as much as possible & read all of your blogs!

Well..

I have been away for two days! Sorry for not annoucing winners I'll get to that asap!

Today was the first day of our yard sale so Ive been busy & yesterday I kicked my husband out. We just werent getting along and I did what was best for my daughter. We are working on the details of visits and all that. I want it all to be the same fo rher so for now Im having him visit her at home. I dont want her to have to be bounced around and confused right now. Its hard on children and I dont want that for her. Im trying to make it simple as possible for her! She is only 3 so she wont understand!

So its just me & Hailee and happy with that!

I wont be around much til after Saturday when our yard sale is over! I'll be hopfully making lots of cash selling hundreds of baby clothes & baby items!

My husband is huge soda drinker, we used to go through a 12 pack every few days. When I heard of Soda Stream I knew this is a product we got get alot of use out of and the money it will save us. Soda Stream sent us Fountain Jet Starter Kit to review. As soon as we received it I ripped open the box and used it right away! I was amazed as how easy it was! The soda is quick to make. Besides the Fountain Jet Soda Maker, we received rootbeer, diet cola, orange, energy, cranberry raspberry, lemon lime, pink grapefruit, ginger ale, and a variety flavor pack of sparkling water. I love the Diet Cola. There are Over 25 regular, diet and caffeine-free flavors to chose from! The Diet flavors are sweetened with a combination of sugar and Splenda brand sweetener.

A pig?

A few weeks ago Hailee was talking about how she dressed as a lion and wanted to know if she could dress as pig. I have never seen a pig costume for Halloween besides piglet. Kati told me about Chasing Fireflies she had gotten so I looked it up online and found an adorable pig costume! Is this not the cutest! I just dont know if I can afford to pay $38.00 for it! I know its only August but October will be here before you know it!

My beautiful daughter!

I took this picture at the Air Show. I wish it would show up bigger. I just love it! [Just click on it to see it full size!] We ended up getting tickets last minute and then we found of after searching for days the Air Show was letting anyone in so we went at 9 and got home around 6:30. We had a great time minus the temp of 95 degrees! We arent used to it being that hot. I am very sun burnt I mean very! We drank about 20 bottles of water at $3 a bottle. Ridiculous!

My head hurts from the sun & taking pictures looking up.

I'll post some other pictures later after my headache goes away!

We are always on the go. I mean always! With a toddler I still have to bring certain items with me when we go out. Sunscreen, drinks, snacks, extra outfit, wipes, keys, camera etc. All of these items do not fit in my purse nor would I want to carry them all in my purse. That's where O Yikes comes in!

It works as a diaper bag but doesn't exactly have to be a diaper bag! It could work for laptops or school work, etc. It has a huge main compartment plus 5 additional pockets inside! There is also a key ring on the inside! The outside has a pocket on the back & a zippered organized pocket on the front. Carolina Pad Review & Giveaway - Back 2 School Giveaway #2

Carolina Pad has the perfect items for back to school shopping! All of their items have trendy and fun patterns. Hot Chocolate happens to be my favorite line!

How It All Started The Carolina Pad story begins in 1945 in Charlotte, North Carolina. That’s when Joseph K. Hall Jr. and several business associates managed to scrape up enough money and equipment to start up a school supply manufacturing company. Joe had been operating Hall & Morris, a school supply wholesale business in Belmont, North Carolina. The new company offered composition books, notebook paper, primary tablets, pencils, crayons, and other school supplies. A former teacher, principal, and coach, Joe was excited by the new company’s offerings.

Carolina Pad continued to sell school supplies in the market formerly serviced by Hall & Morris. But since it was now in the manufacturing businss, Carolina Pad had more products to sell. So to get an edge over larger, more established counterparts, Joe sold products directly to schools in the Carolinas and Virginia — often out of the back of his truck!

Carolina Pad sent me a bunch of products from Simply Chic, Hot Chocolate, Chit Chat, Whimsical Flower & Pattern Play! I recieved notebooks, 13 pocket expandable accordian folder which is great for storing bills, comp book that contains puctuation info & parts of speech info inside the front cover and word play & misspelled words inside the back cover , a very sturdy binder, tab dividers with pockets, file folders, & a pocket folder!

My favorite item would probably be the Hot Chocolate Notebook. I like to keep a notebook of things for Hailee, weight, height, milestones, things she may say, etc. This notebook is perfect because of the features my fav. being the elastic closure!

Not only are Carolina Pad products trendy they will hold up alot longer than other prducts I have seen. The notebook covers are made sturdy not flimsy!

I have seen lots of other cute products at Walmart and the prices were very reasonable for being so stylish! You can also purchase them at Walgreens, CVS, Kmart, & many more, collections vary by store! You find out which stores carry your favorite products here!
