Storytime Live

Ever since Hailee was a baby she has had a love for Nick Jr. Her first love was Moose she used to beat on the tv and everything when he came on! Now that she is older her favorite characters are Dora & Kai Lan which im sure every kid also loves. These shows have taught Hailee so much we sing all the songs together and speak Chinese & Spanish! I was so happy to here about Storytime Live. Its coming to my area in April just in time for Hailees birthday and I know Hailee would love to see her favorite characters live! I have heard so many bad things about this movie and I cant agree with any of them. Today me & Hailee went to see this today with our friends. I thought the movie was great. Sure there was a lil voodoo & death but who cares it wasn't so bad! As for a black princess there needed to be one! If you havent seen the movie I recommend seeing it! Hailee loved seeing it and did very well this was only he second time at a theater. She kept her eyes on the movie the whole time!

Splurged...

This week I got income taxes back so I splurged a lil.

I got myself a Aspire One netbook, which im typing on this moment, I love it. It comes with a built in webcam and wasnt to pricey!

I bought Hailee a car seat which I have been wanting since it came out! I plan on keeping her in a car seat for as long as possible so this car seat will work til she is out of one!

I finally got a Wii fit, so much fun. I got the Biggest Loser game to but havent played it yet. It said I was obese, im gonna do what I can to change that. Ive already changed my eating habits and went to see the dr. about my thyroid problem.

Im working on organizing my living room, I got a 5 shelf bookcase, a smaller entertainment and end tables! I have been putting them all together today, tomarrow I will get them all where I want them. Its been 6 months since I became single and I want things in my house to be the way I like & want so im chnaging it all!

HexBug Nano Review

HexBugs are just amazing little toys. If you havent heard of them they are Micro Robotic Creatures! We recieved two of the Hexbug Nano and I took them out to play right away.

They have the concept of real bugs just without the icky creepy crawlyness.

When placed on the floor the Hexbug crawls just like a real bug with its 12 lil legs. If the "bug" is placed upside down it can flip itself over. It turns when it runs into something.

What did Hailee think?

She loves bug but even if she didnt Im sure she still would have loved these.
She chased them all over our kitchen laughing & screaming get back here! She loves to play with them any chance she can get! She is just amazed by them!

Build a Bear

Yesterday Kati came down to visit. We hung out for a bit and went to the mall for some shopping.

Hailee went to the Build A Bear for the first time. She choose a bunny she named Heart and a cute lil dress for her. She was very proud!

Did a lil shopping at Gymboree and got Hailee the cutest hat!

It was a fun day. Just wish it happened more often. It sucks living so far away from good friends!

Hailee went to her dads for the night so I went to my friends house and she cut & dyed my hair. I really like it! The pictures arent great but they show my hair!

New Moon

I am a Twilight fan yes but im a bad one. I still HAVE NOT seen New Moon or read ANY of the books!

Today I borrowed New Moon from a friend.

So is the New Moon movie or book going to be better? I guess I will have to rent it when it comes on dvd!

They grow up so fast!

Since having my computer fixed I have been able to see all my old pictures, this picture is in black & white hanging in my bathroom.
She was 8 months old.
Its scary to believe she is going to be 4 in April.
She has become such a beautiful & smart little girl!

Disney on Ice: Lets Celebrate!

This show was amazing! Thanks to my BFF Kati Country Girl City Life and her daughter for having us along for a great weekend! Since she lives so far away me and Hailee had a sleepover. The girls really enjoyed seeing each other, minus the amounts of whining it went well!

The girls of course dressed up as Princess Aurora & Ariel complete with crowns! They enjoyed the show alot! Hailee loved clapping! Suprisingly the werent alot of other kids dressed up!

It’s one colossal party on ice, with all your favorite Disney friends! Enjoy a winter wonderland with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, a Halloween haunt with the Disney Villains, a Very Merry Unbirthday Party, a Royal Ball with the Disney Princesses and more in a magical medley of holidays, celebrations and festivals from around the globe.

I loved Minnie all dressed up with the Cherry Blossoms! Minnie was turned into a Princess by the Fairy Godmother! Each of Princesses came out with her prince and skated around wonderfully to a theme song! Hailee was very excited to get to finally see Princess Tiana! I was a lil disapointed Princess Aurora was not there since we didnt get to see her at 100 yrs of Magic either!

Lets Celebrate with snow?

We got so much snow last night on top of the snow we already had! My porch has about a foot on it.

Tomarrow I will be going to my BFF Katis house about an hour and a half away to take our Princess loving girls to see Lets Celebrate. I am very excited, not only to go see the show but to finally get away and be with real friends!

I hope the roads are clear I hate snow very much and I am looking forward to Spring!

New Year New Me?

At the start of the new year everyone has most of the same resolutions, loose weight!

Jan. 1, 2009 I started a diet and by March I had lost 25lbs just by counting calories & watching fat. In April we went to Disney and it was hard to keep track of things, then my aunt passed away, so many things were going on and I just never got back into. This year im getting back into things. I will be calling the dr. tomarrow to get my thyroid under control for the first time in 5 yrs. Im hoping this year I can loose some weight and be happy with myself. Once spring comes me & my friend can get back into walking our 3 miles at the park. I want to be more active than I have ever been. I love being outdoors in the spring - summer so Im going to find lots of exciting things to do.

I really want to get a Wii fit too!

I shall once again start my Spark People calorie & fat counting!

Kumon Workbooks Review & Giveaway

Hailee loves learning shes all about school and loves to do activities at home. During her Christmas break she has been busy thanks to Kumon Workbooks.

We were sent three workbooks from Pre K- K Basic Skills for ages 2-4, coloring, tracing, & easy mazes. I love these workbooks and am looking forward to purchasing a few others. Each workbook features 40 pages of activities for your child!

Hailee likes doing the workbooks! They are all easy for kids to do.

The Coloring workbook has pictures in it that have a spot that isnt colored in for your child to find the right coor & finished the picture, these are Hailees favorite.

The Easy Mazes workbook is just that easy mazes.


The Tracing workbook is filled with vertical straight lines, and then gradually shift to more difficult lines, such as curves, zigzags, and diagonal lines. This is great for helping learn to shape letters & numbers.


These workbooks have been a great help to Hailee. She is learning so much in preschool so these help her continue to learn. I'd love to get her the Cutting workbook. She is a lefty so its hard for me to teach her to cut.
