Old Time Candy 70's Decade Box Review/Giveaway

Do you remember Wax Lips, Ice Cube Chocolates, Bonomo's Turkish Taffy, Candy Cigarettes, Candy Buttons on paper tape, Wax Syrup Bottles, Sky Bars, Zagnut, Necco Wafers, Teaberry Gum or Chick-o-Sticks?

I was sent a 70's decade 4lb box of Old Time Candy. The 4 lb box measures 12 x 9 x 3 inches and is jammed with over 70 of your old time favorites. I was excited to recieve the box and reminise some of the candy. I chose the 70's even tho I was born in the 80's. I was curious to see which candies I remember. The company is also a Cleveland based company.

All of this was in the box: 100 Grand Bar, Atomic Fire Balls, BB Bats, Bit-O-Honey, Blow Pops, Boston Baked Beans, Bottle Caps, Bubble Gum Cigars, Butterscotch Disks, Candy Buttons on paper tape, Candy Cigarettes, Candy Necklace, Candy Ring, Caramel Creams (Bull's Eyes), Charleston Chew, Charms Assorted Squares, Charms Sweet Pops, Chick-o-Stick, Cinnamon Disks, Dubble Bubble Gum, French Chew Taffy, Fruit Stripe Gum, Gobstoppers, Good & Plenty, Home Run Baseball Gum, Hershey Special Dark Bar, Hot Dog Bubble Gum, Hot Tamales, Jawbreakers, Kit Kat, Kits Taffy, Laffy Taffy, Lemonheads, Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip, Lollies, Marshmallow Ice Cream Cones, Mike & Ike, Necco Wafers, Now & Laters, Peanut Butter Bars, Pixy Stix, Pop Rocks, Razzles, Red Hots, Reese's Pieces, Ring Pops, Rolo, Sixlets, Smarties, Peppermint Sticks, Sugar Daddy, Swedish Fish, Tootsie Pop Drops, Tootsie Pops, Tootsie Roll, Wax Bottles (Nik-L-Nips), Wax Lips, Whatchamacallit, York Peppermint Patties and Zotz Sours.

Some of the candy I had never heard but I enjoyed seeing all the different kinds.

My favorite candy was the Wax Bottles, Pop Rocks, Gobstoppers & Candy Cigarettes.

Some candy I had forgotten about were the Hot Dog Bubble Gum & Marshmallow Ice Cream Cones, the cones caught Hailee's attention!

All this was included!

Hailee loved trying out the wax lips.

Old Time Candy Business History:

This adventure began in July, 1999 when we walked into a large candy store in Cleveland, Ohio that specializes in old time candy. We had no idea that many of our old time favorites still existed. It was the candy we ate as kids... Necco Wafers, Candy Buttons on paper tape, Wax Lips, Candy Cigarettes. Amazing!

We went on-line in early 2000 with our first candy assortment and began to grow. In 2003 we moved into a larger facility and expanded at the beginning of 2004. We moved into a much larger facility in August of 2006 where we are located today. 2010 began our 10th year in the candy business. Thanks for helping us be successful.
