Hailee loves to watch Dinosaur Train and because of it she found her love for dinosaurs. She loves helping Buddy while he figures out his hypothesis. Her favorite character is Shiny though. Little One Books has sent us the Dinosaur Train: Dinosaurs Under the Sea DVD for our Birthday Bash for review. They have other great Dinosaur books & DVD's but with this being Hailee's favorite show I knew it would be a hit!In this particular DVD the Pterandon family travels on the dinosaur train under the sea to meet Elmer the Elasmosaurus, a shark name Carla who is a Cretoxyrhina, the Michelinoceras brothers Max & Mitch who Hailee loves to watch swim, Paulie Pliosaurus who is know as the "T. Rex of the Ocean". The kids also travel to the big pond so Shiny can find new shells for her collection and while fishing at a new place they meet a grumpy old spinosaurus.
Hailee has always loved shells so she really likes Shiny's shell collection & I made dinosaur chocolates for her party and there was a spinosaurus mold that she calls Old Spinosaurus.
We are happy to own the DVD now so that we can watch Dinosaur Train anytime. I love how much this show has taught her and continues to teach her. Hailee has learned all of the dinosaur names and has become quite the expert. She wants to be a Paleontologist like Dr. Scott he does a segment after each show explaining the science behind the stories on Dinosaur Train, most kids her age have no idea what a Paleontologist.
This is such a wonderful DVD to purchase for children to learn while enjoying a fun show. Any child loving Dinosaur or Train will love this! You can purchase the DVD at Little One Books for $14.99. They also have Dinosaur Train: Dinosaurs in the Snow DVD.
