I was asked to review a Howard B. Wigglebottom book. The We Do Listen Foundation offers a series of great books to choose from that teach kids about varies subjects such as Listening, Sportsmanship & Bullies. I choose the Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns to Listen for Hailee. The book shows how Howard just doesn't listen at school, to her friends or anyone else. He either ends up hurt or in trouble. While thinking about what he has done by sitting in time out Howard realizes that he should listen. He gets rewarded when he finally listens by earning a Listener Star and extra time to play.
The book is a great addition to our little home library. Its easy enough for Hailee to read and understand! I'd love to add the Howard B. Wigglebottom learns about Bullies to our library as well! Bullying is getting very bad and it would be a great book for the young ones who just don't understand!
