Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken

I got a crock pot for my birthday earlier this month. I have been pinning recipes on Pinterest to try out. I found a recipe for Cheesy Chicken and it sounded delicious. I choose to serve it over rice topped with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese! I used Healthy Request to drop the fat down some since I'm trying to loose weight! Its def. something I will make again!

Hailee is all about projects, when I came across the Orb Factory I knew she would love to do one of the many projects the carry! There are tons of projects to choose from and are well priced, they even have Fancy Nancy & Veggie Tales items.

She has tons of jewelry and just got more for her birthday, she has no place to put it in. I typed in jewelry in the search and adorable jewelry boxes came up. I really thought she would the Happily Ever After Jewelry Box and I was right.

The Happily Ever After Jewelry Box is a great way to keep kids busy while making their box beautiful and something she can be proud of. It is a great way to get kids to follow directions as well. The box includes 750+ sticky foam & jewels, a jewelry box & a Fairy Tale Story.

At the end of the story the is a grid that shows numbers that match up with jewel or foam pieces and the jewelry box includes numbers to add the jewels & foam pieces on. Its very easy to follow, Hailee is 6 and had so much fun following the directions to make it beautiful. Her favorite was the jewels.

The little drawers hold lots of jewelry with plenty of room still in it. We used one of the drawers for earrings, one for bracelets & one for necklaces!

The Happily Ever After Jewelry Box is priced at $19.99, it holds a lot of jewelry so its well worth the price.

Lite Sprites are the coolest toy, I got her the Tree of Life for her birthday and she is in love! We already had the Windmill & Waterfall.

Howard B. Wigglebottom

I was asked to review a Howard B. Wigglebottom book.  The We Do Listen Foundation offers a series of great books to choose from that teach kids about varies subjects such as Listening, Sportsmanship & Bullies. I choose the Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns to Listen for Hailee. The book shows how Howard just doesn't listen at school, to her friends or anyone else. He either ends up hurt or in trouble. While thinking about what he has done by sitting in time out Howard realizes that he should listen. He gets rewarded when he finally listens by earning a Listener Star and extra time to play.

The book is a great addition to our little home library. Its easy enough for Hailee to read and understand! I'd love to add the Howard B. Wigglebottom learns about Bullies to our library as well! Bullying is getting very bad and it would be a great book for the young ones who just don't understand!

My baby is 6!

Its hard to believe its been six years since the day I saw my beautiful baby for the first time. She is my everything! We had her birthday party on Sunday, the weather was beautiful, she said it was the best birthday ever! I took her love for the Wizard of Oz and made it into her party theme! I made the decorations since they don't sell anything besides balloons! I bought mini clear shoes from the wedding section and mod podged glitter on them & painted & mod podged glitter on the OZ.

Myrtle Beach Vacation

This past week we went to Myrtle Beach. I miss the beach already, we stayed at a great condo right on the beach next to Ocean Annies. Ocean Annies has live entertainment everyday so we enjoyed that when we weren't out. We went to Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Brookgreen Gardens, Rode the Skywheel & Hailee played at MagiQuest for her birthday, She had a blast. I recommend eating at Margaritaville, the food is high priced but well worth it!

Hailee found hundreds of shells, even a huge one. I want to go back already!
